I
started my career as a teacher in a newly established school “Sir Syed High
School” Wah Cantt (Pakistan) in 1970. We (me and SSS) progressed together. Sir
Syed High School was up graded to Sir Syed College and I was promoted from the
position of a teacher to Vice Principal and then Principal in 1981. Squadron
Leader (R) Nisar Ali Beg (Late) was my mentor and role model.
I
have no hesitation to say that I worked in that institution with the best of my
efforts, dedication and sincerity. I was very fortunate to have full
cooperation of my teaching staff. Sir
Syed College Wah Cantt became one of the most prestigious institutions of the
area on account of its outstanding academic results and excellent discipline. It
was all due to dedication, integrity and hard work of the teachers. I had a
vision for that institute and it was on the road to achieve it. However I left Sir
Syed College in August 1988. I would mention achievements of Sir Syed College
with all other details in my Blog at some other place and later on in a book
form Insha Allah.
Today
I am proud of my students who are playing leading roles nationally and
internationally in every walk of life.
Sir
Syed Education Society Wah Cantt with the patronage of Chairmen POF’ Board Wah
Cantt deserves all credits for managing Sir Syed College Wah Cantt.
God
bless you all.
Liaquat Sahib is definitely a beacon of Education in Pakistan. I had the honor to be his student. I passed my whole basic educational school career, where I got admitted in Nursery in 1970 and left it in 1982 first. I observed him as a teacher, then my teacher, a Vice Principal and ultimately the Principal of Sir Syed College Wah Cantt,Pakistan, . Liaquat Sahib was the root cause of developing too many personalities, by his dedication in Education. He is truly a nation building personality and definitely a proud son of a visionary mother.... we love you Sir...
ReplyDeleteliaqat sahib as vice principal and the as principal of both school and college was the man at the helm of affairs, he was the custdian of discipline, which we can now guess was how difficult in co-education school. no doubt the SSS reached the zenith of its glory during his times @ we definitely and certainly owe you ! You are our mentor and guardian, then, now and ever after ! wE TRY BUT WE WILL NOT BE EVER ABLE TO PAY BACK !
